Picelle drives the Allen Aircraft/Allen Racing Products of Ravenna-backed Porsche 944 in the German Touring Sportscar Series (GTS).

Picelle drove to seven victories and eight additional podium finishes over the 18-race season of the Ohio-Indiana Regions Midwest Road Racing Challenge, competing in class GTS-2 and pitted against racecars of similar modification from Porsche, Audi, BMW, Volkswagen and Mercedes Benz.

Two key wins at the recent season finale in Indiana secured the GTS-2 Regional Championship.

Adding to the successes of the regional races, Picelle accumulated points from key out-of-region events to secure the top spot over 38 drivers and take the German Touring Sportscar GTS-2 National Championship as well.

NASA Ohio-Indiana Region will give recognition and awards to all series and class champions at its annual banquet, held in January in Columbus.
